Purina Winners Circle 2025: Learning Beyond Borders — Benchmarking in Vietnam
October 20–23, 2025 | Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
The Purina Winners Circle 2025 embarked on an international education and benchmarking tour in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from October 20 to 23, as part of its continuous commitment to growth, excellence, and innovation in the feed and livestock industry.

Exploring Cargill Vietnam: A Global Standard of Excellence
The tour’s highlight was a visit to the Cargill Animal Nutrition Plant in Vietnam, where participants gained first-hand insight into the company’s world-class production capabilities, cutting-edge feed technology, and product diversification strategies.

The team compared Cargill Vietnam’s operations with those in the Philippines, discovering how consistent quality systems and production efficiency are maintained across different countries. The visit also included an overview of other Cargill plants worldwide, showcasing the brand’s unified global standards—proof of Cargill’s leadership as the world’s top feed company serving farmers across continents.
Benchmarking with Cargill Distributors
Another key learning experience came from visiting Cargill’s local distributors in Vietnam. These partners shared valuable insights on market expansion strategies, customer engagement, and feedback systems that strengthen brand loyalty and service quality.

Through open exchange sessions, the group learned best management practices that can be applied in the Philippines—particularly in improving distribution efficiency, customer service, and market responsiveness. The goal is clear: to continuously elevate the delivery of Purina’s trusted nutrition and technical support to every Filipino farmer.
Why Vietnam: A Model for Livestock Development
Vietnam was chosen as a benchmarking site for a reason. The country’s hog and poultry industries are among the most progressive in Southeast Asia, with strong government support, modern production systems, and a well-developed feed manufacturing sector.
Despite limited land area, Vietnam has achieved high feed conversion efficiencies, better disease control systems, and robust export capabilities, especially in processed pork and poultry products. These achievements reflect Cargill’s strong presence and partnership with Vietnamese farmers, driving innovation and sustainability at every stage of production.
Uybontiong Agriventures Corp.: Championing Growth and Sustainability

Among the distinguished participants in this year’s Purina Winners Circle tour was Uybontiong Agriventures Corp., recognized as the top distributor in terms of the biggest volume increase for the current period. Represented by its CEO and his wife, the company’s participation underscores its deep commitment to continuous learning and industry development.

Their involvement in this international benchmarking event reflects Uybontiong Agriventures’ vision of helping build a sustainable and flourishing hog and poultry industry within its service areas in the Philippines. Through partnership with Cargill–Purina, the company remains steadfast in promoting innovation, farm productivity, and resilience among Filipino livestock raisers.

Empowering the Philippine Livestock Sector
The 2025 Purina Winners Circle educational tour reaffirmed that Cargill–Purina remains the benchmark of excellence in animal nutrition—a brand that not only delivers premium-quality feeds but also shares knowledge and global expertise to strengthen local industries.

Armed with the lessons from Vietnam, the Purina Winners Circle members are inspired to bring home strategies that will help boost productivity, profitability, and sustainability in the Philippine hog and poultry sectors.
